Everything is illuminated

It always feels a bit dark out there when the lights and decorations of Christmas are taken down. I thought I'd try and lift the January blues with some pictures I took at Trellisick House in Cornwall just before Christmas, on a lovely crisp winters night.

The gardens and house were illuminated and it was magical to see things so familiar to me transformed in this way. Whatever illuminates your life, leads or inspires you; may it continue to shine as brightly as ever in the coming year.
