Dreams

I love fairy tales and always have done, the fact that they are so removed from reality comforts my inner dreamer - but they often have lessons our human soul would do well to heed. It's striking the balance between dreaming and that 'doing' word that I find so hard to achieve. I would find it very easy to sit inside my ivory tower, with all the skills I've been blessed with and not seek out avenues to develop them further. I have to be metaphorically shoved out of the door (usually by my very patient and long suffering husband).

So I'm going to make a pledge here today to be more like Cindy (hence the fashion doll picture, see more costumes made by me on the tab above) and get up off my bottom and take myself (and my work) out there and see who we can find. As Karen Lamb said 'a year from now you will wish you had started today'. Hope this post inspires you to chase your dreams down, however fanciful they may be.
