Forget-me-not
My Mum brought me the sweetest sprig of wild flowers from her garden the other day and they contained forget-me-nots which I think one of my favourite flowers. Apparently when you give someone these tiny blooms, it represents a promise that you will always remember them and will keep them in your thoughts. They can also symbolise remembrance – both during a parting or after a death. Which is somewhat apt as it’s been five years today since I was parted from my dear Dad, but like these little resilient flowers I have found a way to keep growing and honour his legacy.#forgetmenot
