COP26

I am no 3D modeller, what’s more I hate the feel of clay beneath my fingernails, but some messages have to be heard and sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and make a stance. Or at least in my case roll out some clay and make a very small clay creature as part of a larger army for an art installation in Truro Library Garden. Here is my message to #cop26 in honour of Pingu and all Adélie penguin which have been surviving on the ice-bound continent for 45,000 years. Now its survival is in question as scientists puzzle over the precise cause for its sharp decline and the  correlation with a rapidly changing climate. Colonies of this little penguin on the West Antarctic Peninsula have declined by at least 80% since the 1970s, which happens to be in my lifetime.

It’s time for action not words politicians and the world and all it’s creatures are waiting and watching you. #marchforcop26 #savethepenguins #savetheplanet #climatechange
