"The hardest things to say in life are
HELLO for the first time & GOODBYE for the last"
HELLO for the first time & GOODBYE for the last"

I'm not very good at goodbyes and like most of us I can put off saying hello (you can always make up excuses for why you shouldn't do either). You can also waste a lot of time internalising how such interactions might go down. While it's true these words can be the hardest things to say at times, they can also be the most important. They are beautiful in there simplicity and can often be all that is really needed in so many circumstances. With such a greeting we can often release ourselves from indecision or stagnation that can be paralysing to our lives and happiness. You never know where a cheery hello might lead you or how important and significant a gracious goodbye could be on your life.
I watched a film last weekend and there was a line in it that rather caught my imagination, "all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage and I promise you something great will come of it," (- Matt Damon, from We Brought a Zoo). Twenty seconds then is quite long enough for a hello or a goodbye, however hard it may seem.
My Image today is a paper 'Cornish Rose' I made last year, I like to think of it as a bit of a maze that you can loose your thoughts in for a while. Don't ponder it too long though just take a course of action this week and embrace even the hardest words to say. Have a good one!
