Charmed

There is no charm equal to the tenderness of heart
Jane Austen

It is very easy in our modern lives to get fatigued. It is something I often fall prey to (especially on a Monday morning) and yet we must guard against the thinking that we can somehow get fatigue of the heart. Because the human heart is capable of so many levels of giving and great depths of feeling, that even when we feel spent we can still be capable of greatness. It is a quality that sets us apart as a race and we should try and share around the love, viewing each interaction as a chance to show our true tenderness, so that the person who receives our gifts might not feel fatigued but be re-energised with a restorative love and in turn feel able to pass their gifts on to others.
The image I chose today is one I made from an advert for a famous jewellery store and it certainly looks to me like an expensive charm. The lock however, reminds me of all the qualities that are so often hidden within us that we fail for whatever reason to share with the world - but the world is in desperate need of all your graces, so don't keep them locked away.
Be ready to share a little tenderness with the world this week?
