Upcycle with Decopatch Workshop

Before I had to go away last week, I had just been to a Decopatch workshop at Truro Arts Company taught by Caroline Snellgrove. We were asked to bring in unwanted items of furniture or picture frames that needed a revamp. As it was just before Valentines Day I decided to cover some heart photo frames, to give as gifts. I was quite pleased with my first attempts with the Decopatch paper (as I usually use magazine paper in my own work, which is much thicker) and will probably do some more with it as I love the crazy colours you can use.

 I've now got my eye on the plain bookshelf in our office, I think it could do with a bit of a jazz up!

Next week I'm going to be revisiting felt making on a workshop we're having at Material Girls.
