Life is Beautiful
While I'm still gearing myself up to getting back to my #100daysofpapercollage work, I thought I'd share something I saw this week on Twitter and fell in love with. These two pictures are a great depictions of change and also a reminder of what remains (all very topical as we face Brexit here in the UK). The picture on the left is by the French painter Pierre Adolphe Valette, which I have always loved and even still have a postcard of that I brought when I was very younger from Manchester Art Gallery and the righthand side picture is of Albert Square, Manchester in 2018. What strikes me most about these two side-by-side is that it is the human beings that have changed the least. #lifeisbeautiful
