I love starting too many projects at once and to be honest this week feels like a good case in point. Rather excitingly (and a bit unexpected) I've been asked to pull together a mini exhibitions at St Mary's Penzance ahead of a bigger one next year (when my #100daysofpapercollage will be complete). Various pictures needed framing and sorting for this, so yet again I've had to pause my 100 days project, though my sketches are now complete for the next 10 days.

I also knew I needed to make a start on my Shallal Sketchbook which should be completed by the end of December and as of yesterday was 20 pages of pure blank!!
This Sketchbook, if I ever completed it will go into a travelling library of sketchbooks, to be exhibited around the county, with an aims to connect people and places, sharing stories and art. Shallal Sketchbooks is lead by Shallal Studio supported by Falmouth Art Gallery made possible with funding from Arts Council England through a Cornwall Museums Partnership initiative.
I know what I want to do in it, it's just a matter of finding the time to complete it. I hope you like the first page teaser...
Another BIG distraction this week, is the small matter of meeting one of my artistic heroes next weekend, Oliver Jeffers (just in case you didn't know), this has if I'm honest consumed way too much of my creative time. I was tasked with helping my littlest artist friend create a t-shirt worthy of this meeting.
