Nurtured

Never ignore a person who loves you, cares for you, and misses you,

because one day, you might wake up and realize,

you lost the moon while counting the stars.

I've had an almost perfect Birthday week (back to work today) and I even got to enjoy some rare summer sun! I've been treated royally by those close to my heart and I know its important to celebrate this love and count my blessings while you may. As well as the glorious sunshine there was also a perfect full moon while we were on holiday. I failed to do it justice with my camera, so you will have to enjoy my birthday rose from my Mothers garden instead (the scent of which is magic).

It is amazing to think that we could possibly be so blind as to miss something as brilliantly bright as the moon in our quest for the new. There is no truer beauty than the reflective nature of the moon, that not even a thousand stars could convey. Yet because it is present ever night (clouds allowing) it becomes an easily overlooked fixture in the nights sky. In the same way it's sometimes incredibly easy to overlook those whom we are closest to or worst still take there love for granted. Simply appreciate those who nurture you this week.
