Just Haven't met you yet!

"A Chinese proverb says an invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, despite the time, the place, despite the circumstances. The thread can be tightened or tangled, but never be broken."
I like this idea that the universe is guiding our connections and that there are still lots of interesting people to meet and to influence our lives. I also read into this quote that those we have already met will always be a part of our being and the bonds will never really be broken.
Working with thread (that often gets frustratingly knotted and tangled) I can relate to the mystery of this invisible red thread that is so sure of its purpose it can never be broken. Certainly to date in my life there have been instances when I'm sure I've been at places future friends have been at but our paths didn't cross until later. In fact me and my husband dispute (by a number of years) when we first met, I remember him long before he says he saw me. It was as if fate only wanted the relationship to begin and for love to weave its magic when we were both ready for each other. You could say before that we'd been held together with an invisible thread.

So to all the friends out there I am yet to meet or have met but have not yet found - I look forward to our time together and all you can teach me.
